How to Use LU Print Web Print Service

  1. Log in to LU Print:
    • Go to the LU Print website and log in with your university credentials.
  2. Start the Web Print Process:
    • Once logged in, click Web Print on the left side of the page.
    • Select, "Submit a Job" to begin the Web Print wizard.
  3. Choose Your Printer Settings:
    • Select the printer you want to use.
    • Choose your printing preferences:
      • Black & White or Color
      • Single-sided or Double-sided
  4. Set the Number of Copies:
    • Enter the number of copies you want to print.
    • Note: Black and white printing is limited to 50 pages per print job, and color printing is limited to 10 pages per print job.
  5. Upload Your Document:
    • Drag and drop your file into the designated box or click the Upload from Computer button to select your file.
  6. Complete the Upload:
    • Once your document is selected, click Upload and Complete to finish the process.
  7. Release Your Print Job:
    • To release your print job, go back to the LU Print web page.
    • Click the Jobs Pending Release link in the navigation menu.
    • Click Print next to the document you wish to release for printing.

 

Add Print Credit to Account

  1. Access the LU Print Website
    • On lab computers, click on the "LU PRINT" desktop shortcut.
    • Alternatively, visit https://lamar.edu/printing on any browser, on any device, to navigate to the LU Print website.
  2. Login
    • Enter your LEA username and password to log in.
  3. Add Credit
    • On the left-hand side of the page, click on Add Credit.
  4. Select Credit Amount
    • Choose the amount of credit you wish to add to your account.
  5. Add Value
    • Click on Add value. You will be redirected to a new page where you will need to enter your credit card information and contact details.
  6. Fill Out the Information
    • Complete all the required fields. Once you've filled out the necessary information, click Continue.
  7. Process the Transaction
    • If no errors occur, the system will successfully process the payment, and the print credits will be added to your account.

How much does printing cost?

At the beginning of every fall, spring and summer semester, each student's print balance will be recharged to $10. This balance is non-transferrable. Printing costs per page are listed below:

Black and White

1-sided : 1 cent

2-sided : 2 cents

Color

1-sided : 5 cent

2-sided : 10 cents

Can I refund a print job?

How do I report a problem?

Is there a time limit for picking up my document?

LU Print will hold your job for 30 minutes to print. After that the print job will be automatically deleted from the system.

Is LU Print secure?

Lamar University discourages patrons from printing materials that contain sensitive data such as social security numbers or other personal identification information.
